Lighting Simulation
FlightJuly 2021 - February 2022
Tools & systems
Brief
The structure stretched 25 metres, and the National Gallery Singapore team needed to see exactly how the lights would look before anything was physically set up.
Approach
I built a real-time simulation of the full structure in Unreal Engine, with a custom UMG interface for controlling individual lighting zones. Being able to visualize and iterate on different lighting animations and colors virtually was crucial - it let me walk the team through exactly how the show would look before anything was physically installed.
