VFX

Brief

The VFX had to react to the performer in real-time while coexisting with the dense point cloud environment — all without compromising VR frame rates.

Approach

I built Niagara fluid simulations driven directly by skeletal motion capture data, so the visual effects responded naturally to the performer's movements during the live exhibition. The same system was also used to produce a pre-recorded animation for the installation.
